Study Assistant is an AI-powered platform that allows users to generate, share, and take educational quizzes based on uploaded materials (text, PDF, etc.).
2. User Accounts and Roles
- You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
- When registering, you must provide accurate information and choose a role: Student or Teacher.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
- We use Stripe to process payments.
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time, but no refunds are provided for partial periods.
- All prices are in USD and may be subject to taxes (including VAT in the EU).
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Upload content that infringes intellectual property rights
- Attempt to reverse engineer or misuse our AI models
- Share your account with others
- Use automated tools (bots) to abuse the Service
5. Intellectual Property
- All content you upload remains your property.
- By uploading content, you grant us a license to use it to generate quizzes and provide the Service.
- The Service, design, and AI-generated structure are owned by Study Assistant.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Study Assistant shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
7. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account at any time, with or without cause.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes.
